Youtube to Text

Extract transcripts & analyse with AI

Convert multiple YouTube videos into transcripts at once and systematically analyze them with AI. As a summary, as a comparison table of several videos, or as a free-form question. The results can then be exported to Excel with one click.

The problem

YouTube research takes forever

YouTube contains talks, discussions, lectures and conference contributions on almost every topic. For research, project preparation or competitor analysis, this is valuable material, but watching videos for hours is inefficient, because it is unclear beforehand whether a video actually contains relevant content.

Browser extensions and standard AI chats only help to a limited extent. Free plans are quickly exhausted, transcript exports run into limits and YouTube often blocks requesting IPs.

A dedicated AI application solves this in a structured way: it extracts dozens of videos at once, analyzes them systematically and shows only the relevant results. No add-ons, no unnecessary limits and an interface tailored to your research workflows.

AI-powered approach

Extract and analyze transcripts

The extraction runs server-side via the open-source library youtube-transcript. After that, the AI handles the analysis: the transcripts are passed as context to a model that answers questions exclusively based on the available content.

Template buttons send predefined prompts and return structured results that can be exported as an Excel file with one click. This mini-demo only shows the core, but it could be expanded into a complete pipeline.

In a real setup, relevant YouTube links are collected automatically using search terms and filters. The transcripts are then extracted and analyzed according to your criteria. This creates a structured overview and a searchable database based on YouTube content in a short amount of time.

Paste multiple YouTube links (one URL per line). The tool will extract each video's transcript in its original language. Not every video has a transcript.
